I work primarily with pen, colored pencil, and paint, to make odd little folks and mysterious big places. 

I see bodies -- animal or environmental or cosmic -- as playgrounds of synthesis and connection. Landscapes are weightless and surreal, and people and creatures are often working through some kind of action or thought. Detail abounds, but points of focus are clear. 

There is some humor in all of my art. When dealing with serious subjects I find lightness and comfort in absurdity, and other times I like to approach ridiculous subjects as seriously as possible.
